Halloween isn’t just for kids (or adults!)—your horse can join in on the fun too! Celebrate spooky season with a special, homemade pumpkin cookie treat that your four-legged friends are sure to enjoy. Made with wholesome ingredients, these cookies are a perfect way to spoil your horse while embracing the fall festivities.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 can of pumpkin
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 1/4 cups of oats
- 1/4 cup of molasses

Instructions
- Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 400°F and prepare your baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, molasses, and pumpkin. Stir until the mixture is thoroughly blended.
- Shape the Cookies: Roll the dough into 1” diameter balls and place them on the baking sheet. Keep in mind, these cookies won’t rise or spread, so you can place them close together.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake for 12–15 minutes. The cookies will look slightly dried out but should still feel soft.
- Add a Cinnamon Sprinkle: Before the cookies cool, sprinkle them evenly with cinnamon for a finishing touch.
